There's something happening in The Sims 4...and it's quite strange.
On Tuesday of last week, February 19, 2019, the Sim Gurus started posting weird photos of their sims and typing in a weird font ₮Ⱨ₳₮ ₭ł₦Đ₳ ⱠØØ₭ɆĐ Ⱡł₭Ɇ ₮Ⱨł₴. They also began teasing us for the new GP being announced on Wednesday, the 20th. Example pictured below!

On Wednesday, EA announced the brand new game pack coming out on February 26th, 2019.
Welcome to StrangerVille, where townspeople are acting bizarre for unknown reasons. There’s a deep, dark secret afoot, and your Sim can solve the mystery in The Sims™ 4 StrangerVille!* On February 26, 2019, the strangeness will be released on PC and Mac.
Since then, the community has been blowing up with mixed emotions! While the Game Changers are simply ecstatic(as expected), there are a lot who are skeptical. I have seen many who are downright unhappy with the content being presented to us. "We wanted University" "Quit giving us the same things" "We don't want supernatural things" - With plenty of other reviews, we'll just say the community was at a crossroads for the entirety of last week.
On Sunday, the embargo for the Game Changers were lifted and spoilers upon spoilers were released. This was then I had decided to jump of Twitter for a while because I want to experience the pack for myself, you know? I don't mind that the Game Changers get early access and post the things, but I don't think they should completely ruin the thing entirely until we get the pack released.
I understand posting the things that come with the pack such as build items and the CAS things, but honestly if the pack comes with a story line I am not sure it should be spoiled. A lot of people look for a good experience for it when it's released to the public. We shouldn't have to avoid all our favorite streamers/content creators when new packs are released so that our experiences are limited.
Regardless, I am excited for the pack. It seems to represent some Stranger Things(a hit Netflix original) elements to me. If you've never seen the show, it's a sci-fi show that's set in the 80's circled around a group of kids looking to defeat the elements of a world called "The Upside Down." It's got government conspiracies, serious plots, and all around is a pretty good show. You can click here for more information about the show.
As for the pack, it seems to show a great deal of promise in a supernatural sense. It seems super sci-fi with the element of the "mother" flower and screenshots of hazmat suits, the military being involved somehow(which would happen if something big like an apocalypse occurred), and the showing of what looks like the sims have gotten a hold of some serious drugs(LOL). I have collected some screenshots which I will provide below.
Other than that, there also seems to be some kind of alien conspiracy vibes going on considering the thumbnail for the pack clearly has Area 51 written all over it. Pictured below.

Being the alien queen myself, I cannot wait to dive into these aspects for the game and see what happens. I really hope to have good aspects of it to match me and my brand all together.
For now, I am excited for the pack. I wanna be positive for it and be happy to get it on Tuesday, the 26th. I will be diving deep into on Wednesday after my work and hope to be able to provide some sick content for the Youtube channel and the Twitch channel. Until then...
That's all I have for now until the pack releases to where I can give you guys a full review! If you want to see the stuff Maxis has released click here.
